Telebizz is the controller and responsible for individuals' personal data (referred to as "Telebizz", "we", "us" or "our" in this privacy policy).

Telebizz provides call answering services, virtual receptionist services, switchboard services, mailing facilities, and other services such as IT. We provide our products / services to business customers.

We are bound by applicable data protection laws in respect of the handling and collection of your personal data.

Principles of Data Protection

As a business, Telebizz handles a range of Personal Data and Sensitive Personal Data relating to its clients, staff, and others.

Responsibilities of Telebizz

To enable us to meet our obligations under data protection law, we will provide the following:

  • Training for Telebizz staff on GDPR issues and Telebizz procedures;
  • Appropriate procedures to safeguard Personal Data and to ensure compliance with the six data protection principles; and
  • An escalation process whereby any potential issues should be raised with the DPO of Telebizz

Basis for Data Processing

Provide information to individuals: We are committed to providing information to individuals who contact us with general or specific enquiries. These enquiries may be made by the individuals themselves or on behalf of a customer, either as an employee or representative. Such enquiries can be communicated to us through various channels, including the contact form on our website or other means.

Supply or receipt of goods and/or services: In the context of goods and services contracts, we may process an individual's personal data when they are acting as an employee, agent, or representative of one of our customers or suppliers. Categories of Information we collect

Sensitive Personal Data: is a special category of Personal Data consisting of information about a living individual as to: racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs or other beliefs of a similar nature, membership of a trade union, physical or mental health or condition, sexual life, the commission or alleged commission of an offence, or any proceedings for any offence committed or alleged to have been committed by an individual, the disposal of such proceedings or the sentence of any court in such proceedings.

Telebizz collects some items of Sensitive Personal Data. For example:

  • a medical questionnaire for those employed by Telebizz

The collection and processing of Sensitive Personal Data is strictly regulated, requiring the explicit informed consent of the data subject to collect and process it (unless the collection is a legally imposed obligation) and imposing severe restrictions on access.

Sensitive Personal Data should only be gathered from individuals if it is essential, in which case any necessary consent should be obtained.

Appropriate notices regarding CCTV monitoring are placed around our sites.

We may have to share individuals' personal data with the following parties:

  • UK-based service providers acting as processors, delivering essential IT and system administration services.
  • Debt collection and tracing agencies, assisting in debt recovery, and locating individuals, if necessary.
