This statement is in accordance with s.54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and outlines the measures undertaken by Telebizz to prevent any occurrence of modern slavery or human trafficking within our business or supply chain.

Modern slavery encompasses deplorable practices such as slavery, servitude, human trafficking, and forced labour. At Telebizz, we adopt a strict zero tolerance policy towards any form of modern slavery. Our commitment lies in conducting all aspects of our business with unwavering ethics, integrity, and transparency. To safeguard against any potential modern slavery, we have implemented robust systems and controls.

Our responsibility extends to upholding and protecting the rights of our employees and all individuals we engage with throughout our operations. Our Policies

We maintain a range of internal policies designed to uphold our commitment to ethical and transparent business practices. Among these policies is our robust recruitment framework, which includes stringent eligibility checks for all employees to ensure compliance with UK regulations and safeguard against human trafficking or forced labour.


Our Suppliers

We maintain a carefully curated preferred supplier list. Before granting a supplier the status of "preferred," we conduct thorough due diligence to ensure their compliance with our stringent ethical standards. Our due diligence process involves various measures, including online searches to ascertain that the organisation has never been convicted of any offences related to modern slavery.

  • They have taken steps to eradicate modern slavery within their business
  • They hold their own suppliers to account over modern slavery
  • They pay their employees at least the national minimum wage / national living wage (as appropriate) – for UK based suppliers
  • They pay their employees any prevailing minimum wage applicable within their country of operations – for international suppliers
  • We may terminate the contract at any time should any instances of modern slavery become known

Training

We will conduct regular training and awareness for our procurement/buying teams so that they understand the signs of modern slavery and what to do if they suspect that it is taking place within our supply chain.


Our performance indicators

We will know the effectiveness of the steps that we are taking to ensure that slavery and/or human trafficking is not taking place within our business or supply chain no reports are received from employees, the public, or law enforcement agencies to indicate that modern slavery practices have been identified.
